Dadeldhura: The place with great historical significance

There are a few cities and towns that hold immense importance for the local as well as general people. Dadeldhura is one such place which has striking historical significance and offers an excellent view as well. Located in the far western part of the Nepal, this town has its story to tell and is full of beautiful lakes and historic temples. Although there are some important tourist destinations in this town, its charm is unparalleled, and every visitor to this town has a unique story to share.

1-       Dadeldhura is known as the queen of hills among locals and some outsiders as well. The locals understand the importance of this town because at one point of time this town used to fall in the way for the sacred temple of Mount Kailash. It implies that every follower who wished to visit one of the most sacred mountains ever known to humanity had to pass through this town.

2-      If you ever visit the far western part of Nepal, the town of Dadeldhura should not be missed at any cost. Its rich history has too much to offer for all the visitors. The beauty of the town and surrounding areas simply mesmerize the visitors, and one can never forget the experience of being here.

3-       Out of the few temples and forts located in the vicinity of this town, Amargadhi Fort is one such fort which holds a lot of historical importance for everyone. Although a simple architectural structure, the Temple is a renowned tourist destination and is flocked by religious believers during the season. In addition to this, the other famous thing about this town is the kind of view it offers during the sunset. The view is so pristine that it can relax you beyond measure. Moreover, the environment is so subtle that it can last as a memory of a lifetime.

5-      Another worthwhile temple to visit while in Dadeldhura is the Ugratra temple. The temple holds a special place in the mythological history while we certainly need to mention the temples built by the Pandavas. The Pandavas constructed five temples. These temples are small in size, but the stonework on these temples is just amazing. They are one of the remnants of the era of Mahabharata and is a symbol of rich history and mythology. Nepal and its far western parts are proud to have these.
