Many countries in the world offer adventure and thrill. You can quickly find countries that offer adventure treks and sports, but you can hardly find countries that provide rich history at the same time. Nepal is one such country that offers you more than you ask for. From temples like Badi Malika to wetland Ramaroshan, Nepal’s far western parts are full of mystery and distinct landscape as well. We can also talk about the longest and the largest river in Nepal that passes through some of the most remote mountain ranges spreading its beauty all over the area.

-      Apart from that, there is Baitadi district. Located at a distance of 850 km from the capital of Nepal, Baitadi as a region owns an exquisite natural wonder. There is a cave under a pond. It might seem a little far-fetched, but there is no exaggeration here. The name of the cave is Bhubaneshwar cave, and there is firm belief associated with this cave.

-      The local people believe that this cave does not have an ending. They also say that no one can find the end of this cave and can never exploit it. Although, the people who have studied the case of this region and far west Nepal to be precise; they estimate that Bhubaneshwar cave has an approx. The depth of around 160 meters which is simply mind boggling to begin with.

-      The cave is situated at a height altitude of around 2000 meters above sea level. The entrance point of the cave enables you to witness spectacular view around itself. The Saipal and Api peaks can be captured from here and because of the height of the entrance, the view is nothing short of spectacular.
-      Like many other landmasses connected with mythological interpretation related to Lord Shiva, these caves are also speculated to have been the abode of Lord Shiva for a considerable period of time.

-      In another interesting tale, it is believed that the seven divine sisters were asked to stay in the Baitadi region. It is the reason locals constructed seven different temples in the area; each signifying one divine sister. With such rich history and culture, it is obvious that the country offers much more than geographical landscape and views.
-      While we talk about the goddesses, it is imperative to mention the name of Tripurusundari as the most important among the sisters. This temple is located in the south-west direction of the Baitadi and every year, during its annual festival, loads of tourists and local people visit the temple for the blessing the goddess.
